About Water Kefir
Originally from the North Caucasus region, these grains were nurtured in Australia then Canada. Water kefir grains were dairy kefir grains that have long since been converted to brew juice and sugar water into delicious, naturally fermented kefir. Water kefir is a great vegan, dairy free and gluten free alternative to milk kefir. Water kefir tastes a lot like soda pop but is a healthy drink with benefits similar to those of milk kefir!
Your Kefir grains will begin producing kefir within a few days of arriving. With the proper care your kefir grains will produce healthy kefir forever.
Given the proper environment your kefir grains will multiply quickly. We culture our grains on the cleanest and highest quality water and sweetener available. Your grains are guaranteed to thrive in a quality beverage.
Milk Kefir: Kefir Grains are cultured in organic cow’s milk. Grains are slightly larger than water kefir grains.
